Chickasaw County Salvation Army Needs Bell Ringers
Chickasaw County Salvation Army needs bell ringers, with about 180, one-hour time slots still to fill for their Red Kettle campaign.
Director Kari Markham says this is the time of year Salvation Army raises most of their funding.
Markham says bell ringing is a great activity for families, businesses, high school students needing service hours, and anyone who likes to help others in need.
Markham is also in charge of Toys for Tots.
Markham adds that she will also have a donation box at The Chickasaw County Heritage Center, which will also serve as a pickup point for parents wishing to get toys for their kids.
For more information on donating to either holiday campaign, to become a bell ringer, or how your child receive toys for Christmas, call Markham at 641-229-0113
