With snow expected for the holiday weekend, the Floyd County Secondary Roads Department is ready to mobilize if needed.
That’s County Engineer Adam Miller, who says they have dedicated crews for paved roads.
And additional machinery for gravel roads.
Miller also notes that, depending on the size of the winter storm, he advises residents to have patience, but know that crews will work as quickly as possible to make roads passable.
