Widespread Illness Closes IC School in Charles City for Tuesday (02.03), Open House Postponed

A rash of illness has forced Immaculate Conception School in Charles City to call off classes for Tuesday (02.03).

In Facebook posts Monday (02.02), IC School officials noted that, “Due to an increase in illness in the IC community, there will be no school at IC on Tuesday, February 3rd. We want to help keep everyone healthy and safe.”

The increase in illness also caused the Preschool and Kindergarten Open House that was scheduled for Tuesday to be postponed to next Tuesday, February 10th, from 4 to 6 pm.

School officials add that families interested in Preschool and Kindergarten registration may drop off registration materials directly at the school office rather than bringing children to the originally scheduled Open House.
