Prairie Lakes Church Easter Egg Hunt at Mikkelson Park in New Hampton Saturday (03.28)

Upwards of 10,000 Easter eggs will be waiting for the kiddos Saturday (03.28) morning at Mikkelson Park in New Hampton for the Easter Egg Hunt hosted by Prairie Lakes Church.

That’s Prairie Lakes Youth Ministries coordinator Jill Eike, who breaks down the age groups for Saturday’s egg hunting.

Eike says they’re offering a new feature to make things easier for parents to get their kids to the right spot upon arrival.

The New Hampton Fire Department will sound a firetruck siren promptly at 10 am Saturday to signal the start of the egg hunt. In the event kids arrive late, Eike says the New Hampton Lions Club will once again be on hand with large bags of gummy worms so that no kid leaves without candy.

There’s also a text-to-win contest for parents and the Easter Bunny will be there for pictures with the kids.
