Floyd County’s Fossil & Prairie Park to be Featured on PBS Season 3 of “Road Trip Iowa”

The Fossil and Prairie Park near Rockford is hitting a milestone.
That’s Floyd County Conservation’s Heidi Reams, who says their special anniversary is being enhanced by Iowa Public Television.
The PBS episode on the park is not the only premiere.
Reams says they’re going all out in preparation for the time in the spotlight.

Iowa PBS recently announced that Road Trip Iowa for season three hits the highways, uncovering even more communities and must-see destinations across Iowa. Highways featured include Highway 18, 20, 34, 27, 60, 141 and 163.
Among the eight new episodes, viewers will also venture to the Grotto of the Redemption, the National Farm Toy Museum, Wells Visitor Center & Ice Cream Parlor and other destinations around the state.
Starting May 11th, new Road Trip Iowa episodes premiere Mondays at 9 PM and repeat Saturdays at 9 AM and 5 PM The series is also available to stream on iowapbs.org, YouTube and on the PBS app.
