Floyd County Medical Center Strong Supporter of April Organ Donor Awareness Month

April is Organ Donor Awareness month.

That’s Makenzie McNeill, marketing director with Floyd County Medical Center (FCMC).

McNeill says the number of those in need of organ transplants continues to grow.

McNeill hopes the number of organ donors also continues to grow.

Earlier this month, FCMC’s Donate Life Committee hosted its annual remembrance ceremony to honor those who have given the gift of life, as well as those whose lives were saved because of organ donation.
