Study Could Determine Fate of Wildwood Clubhouse in Charles City

Built some 100 years ago, the clubhouse at Wildwood Municipal Golf Course in Charles City is showing its age.

That’s Park-Rec Director Tyler Mitchell, who says the clubhouse ballroom has its own issues.

Thus, Mitchell says the Park-Rec Board will seek permission from the City Council to have a study on how to address the facility’s future.

Other factors could also impact the financial requirements.

The Park-Rec Board would like to hire Altura to conduct the RFP on the Wildwood Clubhouse. Mitchell will address the City Council on the matter during their planning session Thursday (04.30) night at 6 pm, though because it is a planning session, no official action will be taken.
