Charles City VFW Promotes Operation Veterans Rock Along With Memorial Day Efforts and Community Support Programs

The Charles City VFW joined Community Conversations to talk about the upcoming Operation Veterans Rock fundraiser coming to the VFW on Saturday, June 6. Greg Johnson and Denny Hull discussed the all-day event featuring a poker run, live music, vendors, food trucks, raffles, and fundraising efforts to help support local veterans and ongoing VFW operations. They also highlighted upcoming Memorial Day volunteer efforts, hospital equipment available through the VFW, and a free-will donation taco bar happening this Friday evening.

Operation Veterans Rock takes place Saturday, June 6, at the Charles City VFW with poker run registration beginning at 9:30am and live music continuing throughout the day and evening.
