US Senator Grassley Visits New Hampton, Charles City Manufacturers

As part of his annual 99-County tour across Iowa, U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley made visits to Chickasaw and Floyd counties last Thursday (05.28).

Grassley’s stops included a tour of Precision of New Hampton, makers of torque converters.

Grassley also hosted a Q&A, fielding questions that including how the federal government can play a role in cutting down Medicaid fraud.

Grassley also toured Mechanical Tool Engineering (MTE) in Charles City, where MTE’s Kari Ungs said staff was excited to highlight what they do.

Grassley also made stops last week in Bremer and Fayette counties.
