Northeast Iowa Antique Acres and Power Show Saturday (08.08), Sunday (08.09) in Fredericksburg

Old-time farm practices of days-gone-by will be on display this Saturday (08.08) and Sunday (08.09) just outside Fredericksburg, according to Mike Hackman with the Northeast Iowa Antique Acres and Power Show. 

Hackman acknowledges that keeping the show going is growing more challenging.

 

Hackman says this year’s spotlight is on Oliver, with this year marking the 50th anniversary of the last Oliver tractor made.

There’s also an Oliver-related raffle prize.

The event also includes a Tractor Pull at 4 PM Saturday, a garden tractor pull at 11 AM Sunday and a non-sanctioned Kids Pedal Pull by the New Hampton FFA Sunday at 1 PM. There’s also Coins in the Corn, kids inflatables, Flower Contest, silent auction, and the Craft, Flea and Farmers Market.

Gates open both days at 8 am at Pioneer Power Acres, just off Highway 18 east of Fredericksburg and a half-mile south of Shawver Well. Entry fee is $10 and is good for both days. Kids 12-and-under get in free.
