RAGBRAI “Test Run” to Come Through Floyd County Thursday
A RAGBRAI “pre-ride” will come through Floyd County Thursday.

Because the pre-ride looks to simulate the actual ride into Charles City for the overnight stop on July 28th, a Thursday, cyclists will head out from Mason City this Thursday morning and arrive in the pass-through town of Rockford between 7 and 8 a.m. for breakfast
Riders are then expected to arrive in the meeting town of Marble Rock around 10:30/11 a.m. for a lunch stop. Bikers are expected to arrive along the riverfront in Charles City at about 4 p.m Thursday and will stay the night.
RAGBRAI pre-riders will continue their trial run Friday passing through Ionia and New Hampton on their way to the meeting town of Lawler. They’ll then make passes through Waucoma and Hawkeye before staying the night in West Union, which is the overnight stop for RAGBRAI on Friday night, July 29th.
