Volunteers Needed for New Hampton’s Little Light of Mine Wagon Rides

Voting Open til Saturday for Santa's Shining Lights in Charles City

Organizers of the Little Light of Mine holiday lights display in New Hampton are looking for volunteers to help with their popular horse-drawn wagon rides this weekend.

Wagon riders can tour the lights at Mikkelson Park this Friday and Saturday nights from 5 to 8 p.m. for $5.00 per person. Three or four teams of horses will be available to keep wait times short and there will be a food truck onsite Saturday night as well.

New Hampton Bobby Schwickerath says Little Light of Mine, now in its sixth year, has been a great addition to the community.

To volunteer, find more information on the Little Light of Mine, New Hampton Facebook page.

Like Little Light of Mine, the Santa’s Shining Lights Display in Charles City’s Central Park will continue through the end of December.  The public is invited to vote for the top displays through the event’s Facebook pageVoting for the People’s Choice Awards continues until 8 p.m. Saturday night.
