Charles City’s “Party in the Park” Wraps Up 20th Season Friday Night (08.04)

A Charles City summer tradition wraps up its 20th season Friday night.

The final “Party in the Park” for 2023 includes live music from Model Stranger, a Chicago-based alternative rock band that draws inspiration from the 60s to 90s era of rock ‘n roll. The performance will also feature Wild Love “A Tribute to the Doors.” 

The festivities from 5 to 9 pm Friday night in Central Park will have a “Games Night” theme, plus food and beverage, which can be paid for with eco-tokens. Each token costs $1. 

Friday night’s Party in the Park is the last of four events this season, which began with the first PIP on June 9th, 20 years to the day of the anniversary of the first ever PIP in Charles City.
