A northeast Iowa man has been killed after crashing his UTV.
The Iowa State Patrol says the wreck happened in Allamakee County sat about 12:30 pm Friday (08.04) afternoon near Harpers Ferry. 68-year-old Jeffry Kelly of Waterville was driving the 2023 John Deere utility vehicle west on Walleye Lane and, as he approached River View Road, the UTV hit several trees before coming to a stop when it collided with landscaping rock.
Kelly was killed by the crash, which remains under investigation.
The Allamakee County Sheriff’s Office, Iowa Department of Natural Resources, and Harpers Ferry Fire Department and EMS also assisted at the scene.
