Charles City Schools Look to Mitigate Student Dropout Rate

The Charles City School District continues to look at ways to address its student dropout rate.
During the October 10th School Board meeting, Superintendent Anne Lundquist says it will take a multi-faceted approach to mitigate the barriers to dropouts at the High School.
Lundquist says the district also continues discussion on the possible reduction of the required number of credits (54) a Charles City student must accumulate for graduation.
Lundquist says some work has begun on the initiatives to reduce the student dropout rate with more developments expected later this fall.
