Friday (04.18) Final Day for Retiring Charles City Clerk O’Donnell

After almost 18 years in the position, Trudy O’Donnell is retiring as City Clerk for the City of Charles City, with her final day this Friday (04.18).
During a public retirement reception for O’Donnell last week, she said she was fortunate to have worked with some great people doing great things.
However, O’Donnell said she IS leaving town this weekend.
Those aren’t O’Donnell’s only travel plans.
In addition to traveling, O’Donnell said she looks forward to spending more time with her two grandkids, with another on the way in October.
The City has hired current Plainfield City Clerk Brittney Lentz to succeed O’Donnell, with Lentz’s first official day with Charles City on April 28th.
