Crop Reporting Deadline Approaching for USDA Farm Service Agency and Crop Insurance

The deadline for farmers to report all crops to the USDA Farm Service Agency and for Crop Insurance is one week away (Wednesday, July 15th).

Ron Pethoud is the Farm Service Agency director for Chickasaw County.

Pethoud says farmers can file for free through July 15th.

Pethoud says they’re ready to help farmers report their crops if needed.

The Farm Service Agency for Chickasaw County is open 8 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday at 420 West Milwaukee Street in New Hampton. For more information, call 641-394-5929, Extension #2.
