Iowa DOT Seeks Feedback on 2029 Bridge Project in Butler County

The Iowa DOT is seeking public input on a north Iowa bridge replacement project about three years away from construction..

The proposed bridge replacement is located on Iowa Highway 57 over Beaver Creek in Butler County, just west of Parkersburg

Proposed improvements include:

• Removal of the existing bridge.
• Replace with box culvert.
• Install barrier rail and guardrail.

Traffic will be detoured using County Roads W14 and D17, and Iowa 14. Construction is expected to start in the spring of 2029 and end in the fall of 2029.
