Renovated Charles City City Hall Reopens with New Hours, Modern Upgrades and More Space

COMMUNITY CONVERSATIONS BROUGHT TO YOU BY FLOYD COUNTY MEDICAL CENTER:

After a roughly $5 million renovation, Charles City City Hall is officially back open for business. City Administrator Tyler Trout and City Clerk Brittney Lentz joined us to talk about the move back into the renovated building, including a more modern and accessible layout, additional space and improved security for city employees. They also discussed the new City Hall hours of 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, changes residents should know when visiting the building, and plans for a public open house once staff has had a chance to settle in.
