Butler County Fair 2025: “Better In Boots” – New Barns, and Classic Iowa Fun

COMMUNITY CONVERSATIONS BROUGHT TO YOU BY FLOYD COUNTY MEDICAL CENTER:

The Butler County Fair in Allison starts tomorrow, running through Sunday, with a “Better In Boots” theme tied to country star Tyler Farr’s song. Fair secretary Karen Dilger highlights new additions like a huge multi-species barn, a revamped swine barn, a fresh 4-H/FFA food stand, and a cool “Bin Zebo” shelter. The fair’s packed with a parade, queen coronation, tractor pulls, rodeo, Night of Destruction, Tyler Farr’s Saturday night show, and figure-eight races. This small-town gem brings pure Iowa vibes with local talent and hardworking kids.
